I have been compiling a list of new books that I want to read in 2007. this isn’t an exhaustive list by any means just a jumping off point.
- All Marketers Are Liars by Seth Godin
- Ministry Mutiny by Greg Stier
- Good to Great by Jim Collins (second reading)
- Breaking the Missional Code by Ed Stetzer and David Putman
- Prayer by Philip Yancey
- Free Prize Inside by Seth Godin
- Organic Church by Neil Cole
- Now, Discover Your Strengths by Marcus Buckingham
- Compassionate Leadership by Theodore Engstrom and Paul A. Cedar
- Creating Community by Andy Stanley
I want to know what you think.
Any suggestions?
Anyone wanna read with me?
Anything I should avoid?
I’ll join you on some of these in the new year. Next week, I’m going to do a year-end review of the books I’ve read in 2006. I’ll have some suggestions for you there.
Seth Godin’s stuff is EXCELLENT. You can even download some of his free “tracts” at his site http://www.sethgodin.com. I’d also highly recommend anything by Malcom Gladwell, if you haven’t read him already.
I agree with Eric. I read Malcolm Gladwell’s book – The Tipping Point a few months back. EXCELLENT read.
